Take a look at our Statement of Faith. It’s on our home page. We are a faith-based, Bible-centered organization and as you probably know by now, our vision is to set up Christ-centered purity groups within the local church. That doesn’t mean we will not work with a “para-church” organization. We have and do, but they must be a Christ-centered organization that agrees with our Statement of Faith and shares our heart.
Is your church leadership on board? If you ARE the church leadership, do you have trained leaders, your Timothys and Barnabases who are ready to go? These are some of the questions….and of course, as we get to know each other, more specific questions related to your needs and desires will be part of the mix. Filling out the Contact Information sheet is the launching point.
Finally, seek God’s heart. What are your motives? Bring them before God. This is not an easy ministry. It’s messy. It’s hard. You will deal with shattered lives, unrepentant sinners, sometimes the law, church discipline, and the stigma of sexual sin. Remember, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12) You need to be prepared as you take on the enemy and you need to be surrounded by solid cloud of witnesses (Hebrews 12:1) supporting you in God’s work of redemption.
