Dave is a Flock Leader of FOCiS (Finding Out Christ is Sufficient), sexual purity ministry established in 2000 under the leadership of Rick Donald, Assistant Senior Pastor, Harvest Bible Chapel, Rolling Meadows, IL (www.harvestbiblechapel.org). As the needs of many men trapped in sexual idolatry became more evident, Dave’s vision and burden grew to share the ministry of sexual purity and the freedom which can be found in Christ alone, leading to the establishment of Disciples for Purity. Dave currently resides in Schaumburg, IL.

Don is a graduate of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with a Master’s in Religious Education (www.tiu.edu/divinity). He is the director of Divorce Recovery Ministry at Harvest Bible Chapel, which is entering its eleventh year. In the past he was a member of the board of directors and the treasurer for Stan Stelchin Ministries. Don has been a counselor at Biblical Counseling Center, Arlington Heights, IL (www.biblicalcounselingcenter.org) for close to a decade and has contributed numerous articles to the BCC Bulletin. Don and his wife Donna (who is the director) also serve in the Soul Care counseling ministry of Harvest Bible Chapel. Donna is also the director of the Single Parent ministry. Don and Donna live in Palatine, IL and have 2 grandchildren.

Tim is an international businessman with a degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. He grew up as the son of missionary parents, the primary impetus for pursuing an international career. After many years overseas in international insurance, Tim returned to the U.S. with his family where he experienced the full consequences of his long-hidden sexual sin. For the past six years, he has been ministering as a group leader in FOCiS, and living the testimony of the change that only Christ can bring to the lives of those trapped in sexual idolatry. He lives in Palatine, IL with his wife Jeanette and boasts of two sons; one a Marine and the other recently graduated from Western Illinois University and in his first post-graduate job!
Gary Heidt

Gary Heidt is an icon of the automotive Hot Rod industry and an ’07 member of the Hot Rod Hall of Fame. A creative mechanical engineer, Gary launched Heidt’s Hot Rod Shop 25 years ago in his garage. In the years that followed, Gary developed many innovative, independent, front and rear suspension products that became the sought-after standard. Despite an enviable reputation as a leading expert on chassis and suspension design, Gary unsuccessfully battled his own secret war with purity. He came to FOCiS and began to experience God breaking the stronghold of sexual sin in his life as he obediently chose to walk with God. Now retired, Gary is using his gifts and talents to build into the lives of men as a FOCiS leader. But his automotive passion still continues. Look for him in his garage, where he is likely buried somewhere in the middle of a ’32 Ford coupe that is his current project. If you’re a motor head, he’d love to talk to you about tri-fives, Novas, Chevelles, Camaros, and of course, ’32 Ford coupes! Gary is married to Kathy and loves grandfathering three lovely granddaughters and two grandsons.
